Welcome to the Innovate, Inform, Impact: The Evolving Roles of Academic Leaders Conference!
Join us at Reuben College for our conference on Academic Leadership. The conference is organized by Łukasiewicz Research Network – ITECH Institute of Innovation and Technology. We invite you for a day filled with insightful panel discussions and networking opportunities.
We will look at the questions related to the core mission of Academia through the lens of some critical contemporary challenges: What is the changing role of academic community in modern society? How can experts best fulfil their roles by informing and guiding the wider society? What critical global challenges tell us about the role of Academia and innovation sector?
The event provides for both in-person and online attendance.
During the day we will have panel discussions covering 4 topics:

- Role of University and Innovations in Local Communities
- Ukraine – Role of Experts and Academics in Peacebuilding and Country Redevelopment
- Academia and Enterprise in Innovative Industry
There will be also a matchmaking session with 4 parallel roundtable discussions with all of the participants being invited to contribute – the topics will include:
- Medical Technologies
- Green transition / Net Zero
- AI and digital technologies
- Rebuilding Ukraine innovative sector
