Barristers’ Faculty

The Barristers’ Faculty was created taking into account the position of the National Bar Association of Ukraine on February 27, 2017. In the summer of the same year, the first set of students for the first year of baccalaureate (108 people) and magistracy (146 people) was held.

The Barristers’ Faculty provides training for specialists in specialty 081 “Law” for state budget funds and through financing by individuals and legal entities.

The specialized educational programs of the faculty are aimed at in-depth study of the criminal, civil, administrative and economic processes, judicial and extrajudicial methods of protecting the rights of citizens and business, tactics of advocacy at the pre-trial investigation, in domestic and international courts, together with the study of fundamental disciplines.

The curriculum for training specialists includes, in particular, such normative disciplines: the theory and practice of the bar, advocate deontology, the lawyer in criminal proceedings, the peculiarities of considering certain categories of civil cases, the problems of criminally-legal qualifications, etc.

Practical training of students of the Barristers’ Faculty during the training will be carried out in the University’s law clinic, regional offices of NAAU and centers providing free legal assistance.

The faculty is located in the modern educational and library building of the University, which was opened in 2017.
